Kevin LaGrange was born and raised in South Louisiana and has been a practicing pharmacist since 1991. His multiple years of work experience includes working in hospitals, the home infusion industry and for the last several years at Professional Arts Pharmacy providing compounding and community retail services.

Kevin’s interest in medical marijuana begin when he was asked to be a consultant by one of the many companies trying to partner with Louisiana State University and Southern University to grow and produce medical marijuana. His research in the industry lead to an increased interest in an evolving area of pharmacy practice. Kevin is quoted as saying “Being on the forefront of medical marijuana research and identifying the potential medical benefits of treating a vast number of medical conditions are the reasons I have chosen to be involved with medical marijuana”.

Kevin has recently completed several educational courses from The Medical Cannabis Institute and has attended Marijuana conferences and meetings to better prepare himself to be a resource for physicians and patients interested learning about medical marijuana. He is a member of Louisiana Pharmacists Association (LPA), Louisiana Society of Health Systems Pharmacist (LSHP), and Louisiana Association of Therapeutic Alternatives (LATA) and is actively involved at a local and state level in educating and prompting the Medical Cannabis industry.

In 2014, Kevin was recognized as Louisiana Pharmacy Association Compounding Pharmacist of the Year.
